Bid Invitation for the supply of
Fifteen 5KW Diesel Generators
1. Marie
Stopes International Ethiopia (MSIE) a partner of Marie Stopes
International, is a not-for profit organization established to
ensure the provision of quality and sustainable Family
planning/Reproductive health services to safeguard the reproductive
right of women, men and young people in the country.
2. MSIE
invites all interested and eligible bidders to bid for the supply of
fifteen 5KW diesel generators.
3. Interested
bidders who can provide current and legal registration license from
the Ministry of Trade and Industry thereafter may obtain the bidding
documents during office hours staring from the first day this notice
appeared in The Ethiopian Herald Newspaper against payment of
non-refundable administrative charge of Birr 100.00 (One Hundred
Birr) from the following address.

4. Bidders
should submit original and one copy of wax-sealed offers accompanied
by copies of all appropriate documents/ licenses in a wax-sealed and
stamped envelope to the above address into the box ready for the bid
on or before 07 July 2009, 10:00 A.M. local time.
5. Bidders
shall furnish as part of their bid, a bid security which is 5% of
the bid amount only in the form of cash payment order (CPO) or a
bank guarantee issued by a recognized bank in Birr which will be
refunded as soon as a contract is singed.
6. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or their legal
representatives who choose to attend on 07 July 2009. at 10:30 local time at the Marie
Stopes International Ethiopia meeting room, Head Office, Addis
Ababa.
7. Marie
Stopes International Ethiopia reserve the right to accept or reject
any or all bids.
