1. Oromia
Health Bureau has received a grant from the World Health
organization (WHO) and would like to procurement generator (1) for
Health institutions towards the cost of Health Sector Development
Program (HSDP). It is intended that part of the Proceeds of this
budget will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for
the procurement of Generator (1) for Health Institutions in Local
Competitive Bid.
2. The
Oromia Health Bureau now invites wax-sealed bids from eligible
bidders for the supply of Generator (1) for Health Institutions.
3. Bid
will be evaluated and contract(s) will be awarded for each item
taking into account discounts offered, if any.
4. Bidders
should have renewed trade license for the year 2001 E.C, Suppliers
list registration certificate from ministry of Finance & Economic
Development , VAT, TIN registration certificate & other supporting
letter/s concerning whether they have paid the taxations for
Government and have to bring these requirement/s while purchasing
this tender document and when submitting their offer also.
5. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further, information from and inspect
the bidding documents at the office of Procurement Service, Oromia
Health Bureau Room no. 39, P.O. Box 24341, Kirkos Kifleketema Kebele
19/34 around Ureal Church, Tel. 011-551-0808 Ext.

6. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
bidder on submission of a written application to the above mentioned
office and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 80.00 (Birr
Eighty only).
7. Bids
must be delivered to office of Procurement Service on or before 3:00
P.M in the afternoon on date 10/07/09 (3/11/2001) E.C and must be
accompanied by a security of not less than 1% of the bid Amount in
the form of CPO or Bank Guarantee from a reputable bank.
8. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidder’s or their representatives
(Those who have a written representative’s from their organization
to participate on the bid opening ceremony) who choose to attend at
3:30 P.M in the afternoon on 10/07/09 (3/11/01 E.C at the office of
Procurement Service, Oromia Health Bureau, Room No. 39 Finfinnee,
Ethiopia.
9. The
Bureau reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids.
