Invitation to Bid for the
Construction of Kombolcha Airfield with Gravel finish, Perimeter
Fennce, Watch Tower & Temporary Passenger Terminal building
1. Ethiopian
Airports Enterprise has funds within the Employer’s budget to be
used for the procurement of Construction of Kombolcha, Airfield with
Gravel finish, Perimeters Fence, Watch Tower & Temporary Passenger
terminal building.
2. Ethiopian
Airports Enterprise invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for
the provision of Construction of Kombolcha Airfield with Gravel
finish, Perimeter Fence, Watch Tower & Temporary Passenger Terminal
building, within 365 calendar days from commencement of works.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering
procedures contained in the public Procurement Proclamation of the
Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all bidders from
Ethiopia, Category GC-1 or RC-1
with license valid for the year 2001 E.C.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Transport
Construction Design Share Company and inspect the bidding documents
at the address given below at 7(a) from 8:30 -11:30 A.M. & 1:30
-5:30 P.M.
5. A
complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by
interested bidders at the address below at 7(b) and upon written
application & payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 400
(Birr Four Hundred only) and submission of Registration Certificate
for GC-1 or RC-1 valid for the year 2001. Renewed Business license
for 2001 E.C. VAT registration, Tax payer registration and Tax
clearance certificates. The method of payment will be in cash. The
document will be sent by hand delivery. No liability will be
accepted for loss or late delivery.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) at or before July 27,
2009, 10:00 A.M. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Ethiopian Birr
100,000.00 (Birr One Hundred Thousand). The bid security shall be
payable on demand to the Ethiopian Airports Enterprise, and must be
irrevocable letter of credit, or unconditional Bank Guarantee or a
Certified Payment Order (CPO) at the Bidders option. Late bids shall
be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence the
bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the address below at
7(d) at July 27, 2009 at 10:30
