Contract Title:
Construction of Terminated Expansion & Renovation Chiro District
Hospital
1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has allocated budget towards
the cost of primary Health Sector Development Program /HSDP/ &
intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under
the contract for the following construction work.
2. The
Oromia Regional Health Bureau invites wax-sealed bids from eligible
bidders to all national contractors of class GC/BC 4 and
above regularly registered with the Ministry of Works and Urban
Development and who have renewed their license for the current
fiscal year and have VAT registration certificate, and have past
good work performance.
3. Bidding
documents and (additional copies) may be purchased from Oromia
Regional Health Bureau, Engineering Service Room No. 36 Addis Ababa
for a non-refundable fee each Birr 500 (Five Hundred Birr only) or
its equivalent in a freely – convertible currency commencing from
June 05, 2009 to June 26, 2009. Interested bidders may obtain
further information at the same address.
4. Bids
shall be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening and must
be accompanied by a bid security of at least 1% of bid amount (not
more than Birr 100,000) in a form of CPO, Bank guarantee and shall
be delivered to Oromia Regional Health Bureau including
QUALIFICATION DOCUMENT in wax-sealed envelope original and 2 copies
on July 03, 2009 at exactly 2:30 P.M in the afternoon at which time
the bid will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their
representatives who wish to attend.
5. Clarification
on QUALIFICATION DOCUMENT is attached in the bid document
6. Completion
time for the construction work will be 490 calendar days.
7. The
Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids
