Ethiopia Electrometer Plc. is
established and owned by joint partnership agreement made between
Elsewed Electrometer of
Egypt and EEPCO of Ethiopia.
The company engaged on
Electricity (energy) meter production works since inauguration date
of Feb. 2nd /2009, at its operational building based at
EEPCO Western Addis Ababa Region compound of Mexico Square.
Now the company is looking for
independent and eligible Auditor & consultancy office, to audit and
study its cost accounting system, according to the following
criteria & expected deliverables.
The Independent and Eligible bidders
are required to have & present:-
Currently renewed valid trade
license/s for Auditing & consultancy works with certificate of
registration issued by Ministry of Trade & Industry.
Certificate of competence from the
office of Federal Audit General and/or from other concerned
performances.
The document shall also include
testimonial letter for earlier similar engagements and guarantee
(warrantee) requirements.
Major Tasks & deliverable
1. Shall
audit and prepare report on existing system and financial
transactions of quarters (August 2008-May/2009) of the company.
2. Proposing
the type of cost accounting architecture & automation, Design report
types & formats, source documents, flow of documents (flow charts),
Procedures for flow of documents and
data, authorization,
Procedures for allocation of common and joint costs,
Operation Manual and other
necessary documentations and flows types
3.
Design the inter linkage between cost and general accounting
systems for financial reporting; also procurement & supply
Management formats & procedures.
4. Implement
the designed cost accounting system including training of staffs;

The bidders is required to submit
sealed envelope of technical and financial proposals, for major task
No. 1 and 2-4 (mentioned above) separately, to the General Manager
office within 7 calendar days from the first date the bid published
in the Newspaper.
