can with tap)
PSI is the world’s leading non-profit
social marketing organization, operating in more than 70 developing
countries and has been registered as an international NGO in
Ethiopia Since December 2003.
PSI/E has recently been awarded a
contract by USAID to develop preventive care package (PCP) which
will include safe water storage vessel as one of the components. The
safe water storage vessel is a narrow mouth, 20 lit graduated jerry
can with tap and it will be used as safe storage of drinking water
at household level.
PSI/E would like to invite potential
Plastic Manufacturers to participate in the bid for the production
and supply of 100,000 Pcs of safe water storage vessel.
Interested bidders meeting the
following requirements can participate in the Bid.
i. Bidders
should produce relevant original and renewed manufacturing license,
VAT registration certificate and Tax Payer Identification (TIN)
Certificate during collection of Bid Document.
ii. Bidders
can look at the sample while collecting the bid document with
details of all production specification from our office, Finance
Department from June 9,
2009 – June 15, 2009 during office hours
by paying a non-refundable 50 Birr.
iii. All
bids must delivered in sealed envelope, accompanied by a bid
security, 2% of the bid amount, not less than 5,000 Birr – from
recognized financial institutions payable on demand and must be
delivered to PSI/Ethiopia on or before June 24, 2009 until 4:00
pm local time.
iv. Bids
will be opened in the presence of those bidders’ representatives who
choose to attend on June
24, 2009 at 4:30 pm in PSI/Ethiopia
office.
v. PSI
Ethiopia reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
