Description

To: ALL CONTRACTORS CATEGORY OF GC/BC 6 & ABOVE WITH VALID LICENSE FOR THIS YEAR.

1.      Secretariat of the House of Peoples’ Representatives of The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has funds within the Employer’s budget to be used for the procurement of Basement Protection from Sub surface Water.

2.      Secretariat of the House of Peoples’ representatives of The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of Procurement of Basement Protection from Sub surface Water.

3.      Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all bidders from eligible Countries.

4.      Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information  from Construction Design Share Company and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 7(a) from 8:30 A.M  to 4:30 P.M

5.      A complete set of Bidding Documents should be purchased as of Sene 3, 2001 E.C. by interested eligible bides on submission of a written application, VAT registration Certificate, Registration Certificate from Ministry of Works & Urban Development, Trade License & Tax Clearance Certificate at the address below at 7(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 554.

6.      Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) at or before 12:00 A.M Sene 24, 2001 E.C. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 5,000 payable at first demand and addressed to the employer. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 7(d) at 2:00 P.M on Sene 24, 2001 E.C.

7.      (a). Documents may be inspected at: Construction Design Share Company Water Works Business Unit (Tel. 011-440 06 17 Or 011-442 08 00 Ext. 163)

(b). Documents may be purchased at: Construction Design Share Co., Water Works Business Unit at working hours.

(c). Bids must be delivered to: Construction Design Share Company 3^rd  Floor tendering room at or before 12:00 A.M on Sene 24, 2001 E.C.

(d). Address of Bid Opening: Construction Design Share Company 3^rd Floor Tendering room at 2:00 P.M Sene 24, 2001 E.C.

8.      The employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
