FOR GEOTECHNICAL AND GEOPHYSICAL
INVESTIGATIONS
1. The
Ministry of Water Resources (MoWR) is looking for Geotechnical and
Geophysical Investigations for the feasibility study of Sego
Irrigation and Drainage Project located in SNNPRS near Arba-Minch
town. The Ministry invites interested and eligible firms whose
license is valid for the year 2001 E.C.
2. Complete
set of bid documents can be obtained during working hours from the
date of the first announcement/notice advertised in The Ethiopian
Herald at Ministry of Water Resources Contract Administration
Department, Room No. 212, Tel 0116-62 5515/0116-51 87 01 Addis
Ababa, upon the presence of renewed license and registration
certificate of 2001 E.C. issued from a recognized Governmental
Institutes together with written application and a non-refundable
fee payment of Birr 100.00 (One Hundred Birr).
3. Bidders
should abide with the regulation and rules of Value Added Tax (VAT)
specified by the government of Ethiopia. Failure to do so might
result in automatic rejection from the bid.
4. Original
and copy of bids should be submitted in wax-sealed envelope (i.e.
Technical and Financial proposals separately) to the address stated
above on before 12:00 A.M on 9 April 2009.
5. Bids
shall be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening and must
be accompanied by bid security of Birr 50,000.
6. Technical
proposal will be opened and read in the presence of bidders or their
authorized representatives who choose to attend at 2:00 P.M on 9
April 2009 at the address stated above. Financial proposals for
technically responsive bidders shall be opened and read in the
presence of bidder or their authorized representatives who choose to
attend.
7. Bidders

8. The
MoWR reserves the right to reject any part or all bids, if
necessary.
