Tenders Invitation for the Procurement of
Network Materials and Accessories

Ethiopian Telecommunications Corporation (ETC) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of the following items.

1.      The Tender remains floating from March 17,2009 to respective closing date Bid Documents can be obtained from ETC’s Legehar Building 2^nd floor office Room NO.216 (Addis Ababa) from 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. after payment of non-refundable fee Birr 30.00(Thirty Birr) for tender document at our Head office 3^rd floor Room No.311, after taking payment form Legehar Tele. Building (Broadband) 2^nd floor Room No. 216 Bidders should submit their renewed original license VAT certificate and other relevant documents with copies when they come to obtain the bid documents.

2.      Bidders shall furnish as part of their Bid, Bid security as follows      

3.      The Bid bond must be in either of the following form 

a) Cash

b) Certified Cheque, (CPO) issued by a recognized
     Bank or
c) Bank guarantee from recognized bank.

4.      Bidders who wish to submit Bid security in the form of cash are required to deposit to our Head office 3^rd floor Room NO.311 before each tender opening date and time and produce the receipt during the bid opening time.

5.     Bidders should prepare their technical and commercial offer in a wax-sealed envelope and deposit in the box situated at ETC’s Legehar Building 2^nd Floor Room No. 216 until bid closing date.

6.      Bids will be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives at ETC’s Legehar Building 2^nd Floor Room No.216 according to the following schedule:
