1.
The Ministry of Education has funds with in the Employer’s
budget to be used for the procurement of contractor’s for Harmaya
University Dire Dawa Campus Additional & Remaining Works of
Building, Site work, Reservoir and Septic Tank Construction.
2.
The Ministry of Education invites sealed bids from eligible
bidders of GB/BC CLSS4 & above.
3.
Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open
tendering procedures contained in the public procurement
proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to
all eligible bidders.
4.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information
from Construction Design Share Company and inspect the bidding
documents at the address 7(a) from 9:00 A.M to 16:30 P.M
5.
A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased as of
Megabit 03/2001 by interested eligible bidder on submission of
WRITTEN APPLICATION, MINISTRY OFF WORKS AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT and
VAT REGISTRATION CERTIFICATES, TRADE LICENSE & TAX CLEARANCE LETTER
at the address below at 7(b) and up on payment non refundable fee of
Birr 2,625.000(Two Thousand Six Hundred Twenty Five).
6.
Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) on or
before 10:00 A.M All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security Birr 100,000,00
payable on first demand Bids will be opened in the presence of the
bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the address below at

c) The bidder shall seal the Original
Bid security and all copies of the bid in five inner envelopes i.e.

Bid in five inner envelopes i.e (“The Technical Proposal “ and ‘’
Financial Offer and Bid security) and one outer envelope duly
marking the inner envelopes as ORIGINAL” AND “COPY “ BOTH FOR The
Technical proposal” and Financial Offer” Copy documents should be
photocopy of the original bid document.
d) The employer
has the right to reject any or all bids.
Partial rebate, like fixed sum and
rebate on some items is not acceptable.
Bidders should fill all forms, sign
and seal the bid documents properly.
Bidders should return the instruction
to bidder’s document upon sign and seal of the document.
