1. The
Government of Ethiopian has received a Grant from the African
Development Bank in various currencies to finance the cost of Water
Supply Sanitation and Hygiene Projects. It is intended that part of
the proceeds of this grant will be applied to eligible payments
under the contract for the supply of Afridev Hand pumps for Rural
Water Supply program in the region.
2. The
SNNP Water Resources Development Bureau now invites wax-sealed bids
from eligible bidders for the supply of

3. A
complete set of Bidding Document may be purchased by interested
bidders on the submission of a written application to the above and
upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 300.00
4. Interested
eligible national or International bidders may obtain further
information from SNNPR Water resources Development Bureau, WaSH

5.
Bids shall be valid for 90 days after bid opening Bids should
be accompanied by bid security of 40,000.00 Birr in the from of
CPO. Or bank guarantee.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the SNNPR Water Resources Development Bureau,
Equipment & Supply Service, Room No. 05 Hawassa city, Tel 0462212469
at or before 2:00 P.M on 30th day of this announcement on National Newspaper.
Electronic bidding will not be permitted. late bids will be
rejected.
7. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders/their representatives who
choose to attend in person at 8:30 P.M on 30th day of
this announcement on National Newspaper, at the library of the SNNPR
Water Resources Development Bureau, Hawassa City. If there will a
public holiday in this date, the closing and opening of the bid will
take place on the next working day at the same time and the same
venue.
8.
Late bids will be rejected.
9. The
SNNPR WRDB reserves the right to cancel all or part of the bid.
