Invitation N FOR BID
1. The
Oromia Education Bureau has received budget from Oromia Regional
state to complete the Construction of Yabelo & Chelenko higher
secondary schools in the Yabelo & Chelenko towns.
2. The
Oromia National Regional state Education Bureau now invites all
contractors of grade six and above with renewed license valid for
the year 2009 for furnishing the necessary labor, material,
equipment and service to complete the construction of the two higher
secondary schools.
3. Bidding
documents may be purchased at the office of Oromia National Regional
state Education Bureau, in the1st new block, P.O. Box 8728 Tel.
251-011 440 13 80 Addis Ababa, Ethiopia up on submission of written
application and anon-refundable fee of Eth. Birr 300 (Three Hundred
Birr) for each school starting from March 16, 2009 to March 31,
2009.

Bidders may obtain further information, inspect and acquire
the bidding documents from the above.
5.
The qualification requirement shall be as per the criteria
stated in the tender document.
6.
The dead line of bid (both qualification and financial offers
independently) submission shall be on or before 3:00 P.M of April
06, 2009.
7. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security (valid for 120 calendars
days) in an acceptable form (CPO or bank guarantee) of 2% of the bid
amount.
8.
Bids will be opened and read in the presence of bidders or
their Authorized representatives on the same day of submission of
the bid at 3:30 P.M. in OEB hall.
9. The
construction of the work shall be completed with in a maximum of 60
calendar days from the commencement date of the work.
10.
The Oromia Education Bureau reserves the right to reject any
or all bids.
