Invitation of Express Interest for Consultancy Services of
Technical Assistance as Retained experts to ERA
(Re-tendered)
National Competitive (Bidding)
The Ethiopian Roads Authority has allocated
funds and intends to apply the proceeds of these funds towards the
cost of Consultancy Services for the Technical Assistances as
Retained experts to ERA The Ethiopian Roads Authority now invites
suitably qualified experts to submit sealed expressions of interest
for the subject Services.
Participation is open to all eligible experts.
Each interested experts shall submit one EOL in
three copies for the services explicitly specifying for which poison
he/she is applying in its submission letter, and shall include all
the relevant experiences related to each position the expert is
applying The Retained expert positions are.
Highway
Design expert
Contract Management
Expert
Qualification of Retained Experts
All the Retained Experts shall be fluent in the full use 9i.e
the writhing, reading and speaking) of English In addition, they
shall be fully computer literate with at least a minimum knowledge
of word processing spread sheets and power point.
The Retained Experts shall have at a minimum
the following qualifications.
1)
Highway Design Expert
B.S.c Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 12 years
experience or MSc Degree in related fields with a minimum of 10
years experience in road projects.
8 years experience as a highway Engineer in road design projects of
which 4 years shall be experience as a Team Leader.
3 years experience in road construction projects as a Highway
Engineer.
4years experience in use of computer aided design and drafting and
computerized road design software’s
Fluency in English is necessary
2)
Contract Management Expert
B.S.c. Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 12 years
experience or M.S.c Degree in related fields with a minimum of 10
years experience in road projects.
8yers experience in contract management of road
projects of which4 years shall be experience in a senior position.
4 years experience in claims analysis and
dispute resolution for road construction projects.
Fluency in English and computer literacy are
necessary.
