Invitation to Bid 2^nd call

       WITH VALID LICENSE FOR THE CURRENT YEAR.

1.      The Ethiopian insurance Corporation has funds with in the Employer’s budget to be used for the procurement of life house building at Addis Ababa.

2.      Ethiopian insurance Corporation invites sealed bids from eligible bidders of GC/BC class 1.

3.      Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering procedures contained in the public procurement of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders.

4.      Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information form Construction Design Share Company and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 7(a) from 9:00 A.M to 16:30 P.M local time.

5.      A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased as of Megabit 10/2001 E.C. by interested eligible bidders on submission of a  WRITTEN APPLICATION, VAT REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE, MINISTRY OF WORKS AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE, TRADE LICENSE & BID PARTICIPATION SUPPORTING LETTER  at  the address below at 7(b). And upon payment of nonrefundable Fee of See Tender documents Birr.

6.      Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 12:00 A.M All bids must be accompanied by a bid security 100,000.00 Birr payable at first demand. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders/representatives who choose to attend at he address below at 14:00 P.M  Megabit 30/2001 E.C

e. The bidder shall seal the Original, Bid security and all copies of

 documents should be photocopy of
 the original bid document.

f. The employer has the right to reject any or all bids.

    Partial rebate, like fixed sum and rebate on some items is not     acceptable.
