Invitation for Bids WRDB FS 002/2001

1.      The SNNP water Resources Development Bureau hereby invites Qualified and eligible Bidders licensed in water works construction to submit sealed bids for the construction and completion of the following water supply projects

       Construction of 4 (Four) Water Supply Schemes in two separate lots

Lots I: Construction of two water supply schemes in Alaba and yem special woredas

Lot II: Construction of two water supply sehemes in Konos special woreda and Gamogofa woreda Gamogofa Zone (Boreda Woreda)

2.      Bidding is open to all bidders from Eligible member countries as defined in the SNNP  Regional State’s Rules and procedures for the procurement of Goods and Works as well as to those domestic contractors with G.C 6 Categories and above licensed in water works construction & having license valid for the current year and registration certificate for VAT 

3.      Qualification requirement includes 1/ Ownership and /or existing lease of relevant equipment and machinery 2/experience in water works construcin3/availability of relevant experienced personnel as provided in the bidding document with other additional details.

4.      No price adjustment will be permitted

5.      Electronic bidding will not be permitted

6.      A complete set of Bidding Document may be purchased by interested bidders upon submission of a written request application and payment of non-refund able fee of Eth of Birr 200.00 (Two hundred only) from SNNP Regional Water Resources Development Bureau Room Number 04, Tel. +251 462203942 P.O. 7.      Bid shall be accompanied by a bid security of not less than 1% of the contract amount in the form of Cash payment Order (CPO) or equivalent Bank guarantee and shall remain valid for 90 (Ninety) days

8.      Bios shall be delivered to SNNP Regional Water Resources Development Bureau Room Number 04 Tel. 251 462203942 P.O. Box 153 on or before the 15^th day of this announcement before 11:00A.m. and bid will be opened on the same date at 2:30 P.M. in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who wish to attend Late bids will be rejected

9.      The SNNP Regional Water Resources Development Bureau reserves the right to reject all or parts of the bids.
