1.
The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a
credit from the international Development Association/IDA/ toward
the cost of public sector capacity building program (PSCAP) and it
intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments
under the contract for the supply and Delivery of the ICT equipment
under IFB No. Amha/G-01/08.
2.
The Amhara National Regional State Capacity Building Bureau
now invites scaled bids from eligible bidders for Supply & Delivery
of the following IT equipments for ANRS Bureau of Capacity Building

Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive
Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines
procurement under IBRD loans and IDA Credits. and IS OPEN TO ALL
BIDDERS FROM Eligible source countries.
4.
A complete set of Bidding document in English “for each lot
may be purchased by an interested eligible bidders on “the
submission of written application to the ANRS Bureau of Capacity
Building & up on non-refundable payment of Birr 50.00(Fifty Birr)
for each bid document in cash with in 30 consecutive calendar days
starting from the date of this bid announcement during the official
working hours from Room NO. 129
5. Bids
must be accompanied y a bid security bond amounting to Ethiopia Birr
1% of the total bid amount in one envelope for each lot in an
acceptable form the bid security should be in the form of an un
conditional bank guarantee or certified payment order (CPO) in
addition the bid security must remain valid for a period of 28 days
beyond the validity period of the bids.
6. Bidders
should present currently renewed trade licenses VAT & TIN
Registration Certificates.
7.
The Bureau resaves the right to reject any or all bids.
8. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information and bids must be
delivered to the address below starting from the d ate of this
INVITATION FOR BID (IFB) Bids will be closed on April 21 2009 at
2:30 P.M. late bids will be rejected.
9. Interested
eligible bidders are required to seal all envelopes of their
proposals with wax and their company stamps.
10. The
offer must be valid for 120 days from the bid submission date
