1. The
SNNP Water Resources Development Bureau hereby invited qualified and
eligible bidders licensed in water well construction to submit
sealed bids for the construction and completion of the following
Water Supply Projects:
Drilling of 60 Shallow wells In three separate lots as follows.
Lot(1) incorporates the
drilling of 20 shallow wells in Wolayita Zone Damot Gale & Damot
Pulassa woredas.
Lot (2) incorporates the
drilling of 20 shallow wells in Gamo Gofa Zone Arbaminch Zuria
woreda and Konso special woreda
2. Bidding
is open to all bidders from Eligible member countries as defined in
the SNNP Regional State’s Rules and Procedures for the procurement
of Goods and Works as well as to those domestic Contractors of the
mentioned Categories and above licensed in water well drilling
construction having license valid for the current year of (2001 E.C)
and registration certificate for VAT.
3. Qualification
requirement includes:1/Ownership and /or existing lease of relevant
equipment and machinery 2/ experience in water works construction
3/availability of relevant experienced personnel as provided in the
bidding document with other additional details.
4. No
price adjustment will be allowed.
5. Electronic
bidding will not be permitted.
6. A
complete set of bidding Document may be purchased by interested
bidders upon submission of a written request application and payment
of a non-refundable fee of Eth. Of Birr 200.00 (Two Hundred only)
from SNNP Regional Water resource Development Bureau, Room number

City.
7. Bids
shall be accompanied by a bids security of not less than 1% of the
contract amount in the form of Cash payment Order (CPO) only, and
shall remain valid for 90(Ninety) days.
8. Bids
shall be delivered to SNNP Regional Water Resources Development
Bureau, Room Number 04, Tel.+251462203942,P.O.Box, 153 on or before
the 15th day of this announcement before 9:00A.M. and bid will be opened on the same date at 10:00 A.M in the presence of

9. The
SNNP Regional Water Resources Development Bureau reserves the right
to reject all or parts of the bids
