The Water works Design & Supervision Enterprise (hereinafter
referred to as the “CONSULTANT”) for and on behalf of the Wabi
Shebele hotels Enterprise (hereinafter referred to as the “CLIENT”)
for and on behalf of the Wabi Shebele Hotels Enterprise (hereinafter
referred to as the “CLIENT”) invites sealed bids from qualified and
eligible Contractors for the construction of Works in respect of
Sodere Flood Control & Drainage Works Construction project
Lot 1
Flood protection Walls Structure &
Drainage Pumping Station and sump at Mahberawi Area: supply and
installation of electrical submersible drainage pumps at Mahberawi
and Kidanemehret Areas
Existing Flood wall drainage at Large
swimming Pool area:
Flood protection Wall Structure &
Drainage pumping Station and sump at Abadir Area
Flood protection Wall Structure &
Drainage Pumping station and sump at Awash to Melkabole area.
Lot 2
Remaining Flood protection Wall
Structures around large swimming Pool and Awash to Melkabole are

The site is located at 121 km from Addis Ababa and 19km from
Nazrate
3.
the Client has an interest to award the project ot the
contractor capable to take all the components as a package-civil
works, supply & installation of Goods for each Lot to be completed
with in 9 calendar months.

Bidders may obtain further information in respect of the
Bidding Dossier at the office of

5. A
complete set of bidding document in soft copy (CD) may be collected
by interested bidders at the address indicated above at 4 and upon
payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 250.00 (Two Hundred Fifty )
in cash.
6.
Bidders required to fulfill Trade license certificate valid
for 2001 E.C. Ministry of Finance & Economic Development
Registration VAT Registration, Bid bond Renewed construction license
of GC 4 and above, among others.
7.
Bidders are advised to attend a pre-tender meeting to clarify
issues, obtain answers to questions on any matter. The meeting will
take place at the above office on April 8, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. The technical qualification document will be opened in the presence of
Bidders or their representatives who choose to attend on
April 15, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. at the Water Works Design & Supervision Enterprise Conference Room.
8. The
above documents shall be submitted in wax-sealed envelope
accompanied by a security of 2% of the total bid price in the form
of bank guarantee or CPO and must be delivered to the above address
on or before April 15, 2009 at 10:00 A.M The technical qualification
document will be opened in the presence of Bidders or their
representatives who choose to attend on April 15, 2009 at 10:30 A.M.
at the Water Works Design & supervision Enterprise Conference Room.
9. Bidders
with best-ranked technical proposal as determined by the consultant
and as approved by the Client will later be notified of the opening
date for financial proposal.
10. The
Wabi Shebele Hotels Enterprise reserves the right to reject any or
all bids. |
