The
Millennium Villages Project
The Millennium
Village Project (MVP) is a new bottom-up approach to lift developing
country villages out of the poverty trap that afflicts more than a
billion people worldwide. It plants to provide an early success to
the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Scientific expertise in
agriculture, nutrition and health, economics, energy, water,
environment and information technology is being harnessed alongside
community and government commitment to apply a proven holistic
package of interventions to help villages get our of extreme poverty
and meet the millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
There are
currently around 80 Millennium Villages in 10 countries in sub-Sharan
Africa, 11 of which are in Ethiopia. Millennium Village sites are
chosen based on three criteria; location in a hunger hot spot in one
of 12 distinct agro-ecological zones in Africa.
MVP is kindly
invited interested companies to solicit a tender for the purchase of
one Bull Dozer as per the specification we have. Please note the
following conditions and incorporate them in your official proforma
invoice.
1. Technical
specification is available at our office. Contact Birkiti Kibed or
Tefetawit G/yesus.
2. The
Proofrma invoice will be in English and addressed to Millennium
Village Project to the Attention of Head, Procurement and Suppliers
Management Department.
3. Delivery
dates should be clearly indicated with the last due date
4. Bank
account, swift code or any other transfer code should be clearly
indicated as payment will be made in CPO directly to your account.
5. Bid
will be opened in the presence of all potential suppliers on May 22,
2009 at 10:00 A.M.
6. Attach
copy of your license and tax registration.
7. Enclose
2% Bid bond in the form of CPO.
8. Ensure
also availability of spare parts as per the specification attached
with this letter.
9. This
tender will be remaining open till Tuesday May 21, 2009 at 5:30 P.M.

your proforma invoice includes all the above terms of conditions
