1.      The Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a loan from the African Development Bank in various currencies to finance the cost of the Project “The Creation of Sustainable Testse and Tryoanosmaisis-Free Areas in East and West Africa” to be implemented by the Ethiopian Ministry of Science and Technology (Most) Southern Rift Vallley Testse Eradication Project (STEP). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contracts for the supply of Camping Equipment, Boats and Outboard Motors.

2.      The STEP now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of the following items.

3.      Bidders can bid for one or more lots. Bidders should bid for a complete lot and partial lot will not be considered by the Purchaser:

5.      A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders for a non-refundable fee of 100 Birr by submitting a written request to the above address.

6.      Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 10:00 A.M. on 1 July 2009, and must be accompanied by a refundable security deposit of 1,000 Birr per lot included in the bid.

7.      Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose to attend at 10:30 A.m. on 1 July 2009 at the above address.
