Re-Invitation to Bid
1. The
National Petroleum Reserve Depots Administration has funds within
the Procuring Entity’s budget to be used for the procurement of Five
Fighting Foam.
2. The
National Petroleum Reserve Depots Administration invites sealed bids
from eligible bidders for the supply and delivery of Five Fighting
Foam.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open international
tendering procedures contained in the Public Proclamation of the
Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and is
open to all bidders from eligible source countries.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from National
Petroleum Reserve Depots Administration and inspect the bidding
document at the address given below at 7(a) from: 09:00 to 12:00
hours AM and 1:00 to 5:00 hours P.M.
5. A
complete set of Bidding Documents prepared in the English language
may be obtained by any interested Foreign bidder who has local Agent
in Ethiopia and Local bidder at the address below at 7(b) upon
payment in cash, a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 100 (One
Hundred Birr Only). Foreign bidders who do not have local agents in
Ethiopian and who with to get bidding document directly can get it
by mail but they have to sent a non-refundable fee Birr 100.00 (One
Hundred Birr) or an equivalent amount in foreign currency Drawn in
favor of National Petroleum Reserve Depots Administration. Foreign
bidders who do not have local agents in Ethiopian can alternatively
get the bidding document upon payment in cash, non-refundable fee of
Eth. Birr 100.00 (One Hundred Ethiopian Birr) though their Embassies
in Ethiopia. The Document will be sent by mail. No liability will be
accepted for late delivery.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) at or before 8/7/2009
at 10:00 hours A.M. Addis Ababa time. All bids must be accompanied
by a bid security of 25,000 Ethiopian Birr, which shall be valid for
28 days beyond the validity date of the bid. The bid security shall
be in CPO or a Bank guarantee or Bank certified cheque issued by a
recognized Bank established in Ethiopia. Late bids shall be
rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the
bidder/representatives. who choose to attend at the address below at
7(d) at 8/07/2009 at 10:00 hours A.M. Addis Ababa time.
