1. The
National Alcohol & Liquor Factory (NALF) invites the entire eligible
Local Contractors to submit the Qualification information and Bid
Office to undertake the Construction of Asphalt project 412 meters
long and 6 meters wide.
2. Bidder
with valid license shall obtain a complete set of bidding documents,
through written application, from the NALF Head Office, addressed
below upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 300 (Three
Hundred).
3. Duplicate
copies of financial proposal (Bid Offer) and Technical Proposal
(Qualification Information) shall be produced in different
wax-sealed envelopes labeled as “ORIGINAL” and “COPY” and must be
placed in the bid box along with a bid security in an acceptable
form amounting 1% of bid offer on or before May 21, 2009 G.C. at
9:00 A.M. at the same address below.
4. Bidders
must meet the minimum qualification criteria for their bid offers to
be opened. Unqualified Bidder’s Bid offer will be returned unopened
to the Bidder.
5. Qualification
Information will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their
representatives May 21, 2009 G.C. at 10:00 A.M. at the same place.
Bid offers of qualified bidders will
be opened in the same place after 10 days from the opening date of
Technical Proposals, i. e. May 30, 2009 G.C. at 9:00 A.M.
6. This
Invitation is open to all local contractors on category GC3 or RC3
and above.
7. NALF
reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
