1. Pastoral
Community Development Project ahs received a grant from
International Development Association and it intends to apply
part of the proceeds of this Grant ot payments under the contract
for the procurement Desktop Computers, Laptop computers and Printers
listed below.
2. The
Federal Project Coordination unit now invites sealed bids
from eligible bidders for the supply of Office Equipments as
hereunder:
Lot I: 16 Copiers
Lot II: 75 Desktop
computers,
Lot III: 65 Printers and (75)
UPS Lot IV: 15
Laptop computers,
Bidders have the option to bid for
one or more Lots; Bidders not giving a technically responsive offer
for 100% of the items in a lot will be treated as incomplete and
rejected as non-responsive.
3. Bidding
will be conducted under the national competitive Bidding procedures
specified in the World bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD
Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible
source countries as defined in the Guidelines.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Federal
project Coordination unit and inspect the bidding documents at
the address given below during office hours.
5. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
eligible bidders on the submission of a written application to the
address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee Birr 100
during office hours Monday to Friday.
6. Bids
must be submitted to Federal project Coordination Unit at or
before 18 June 2009 at 2:30 P.M
7. All
bids must be accompanied by a Bid security no less than 2% for all
Lots in the form of cash, CPO, Certified cheque, or Bank Guarantee.
8. Bids
will be opened on June 18,2009 at 3:00 P.M in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to
attend at the address below.
9. Federal
Project Coordination unit
reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
