1. Pastoral
Community Development Project has received a grant from
International Development Association and it intends to apply part
of the proceeds of this Grant to payments under the contract for the
procurement of Radio Transmission listed below.
2. The
Federal Project Coordination Unit now invites sealed bids from
eligible bidders for the supply of Vehicle’s Radio Communication
equipments as hereunder.
Lot 1: 20 Mobile Radio Transmission
for Vehicles
Bidders have the
option to bid for one or more Lots: Bidders not giving a technical
responsive offer for 100% of the items in a lot will treated as
incomplete and rejected as non-responsive.
3. Bidding
will be conducted under the national competitive Bidding procedures
specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD
Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible
source countries as defined in the Guidelines.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Federal Project
Coordination Unit and inspect the bidding documents at the address
given below during office hours.
5. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
eligible bidders on the submission of a written application to the
address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100
during office hours Monday to Friday.
6. Bids
must be submitted to Federal Project Coordination Unit at or before
25 June 2009 at 2:30 P.M.
7. All
bids must be accompanied by a Bid security not less than 2% for all
Lots in the form of cash, CPO, certified cheque or Bank guarantee.
8. Bids
will be opened on 25 June 2009 at 3:00 P.M. in the presence of
the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at the
address below at FPCU conference Hall.
9. Federal
Project Coordination Unit reserves the right to reject any or all
bids.
