Ethiopian
Insurance Corporation invites eligible Auditors under bid category
for the auditing of its annual financial statements for the coming
three years (i.e. 2008/2009, 2009/2010 & 2010/2011) according to the
following criteria.
1. Eligible
bidders are invited to take part in the bid upon presentation of
currently renewed valid trade license together with a Certificate of
registration issued by Ministry of Trade & Industry, registered for
Value Added Tax, and should submit certificate of competence from
the Office of Federal Audit General.
2. A
complete set of bidding document can be purchased from Ethiopian
Insurance Corporation, General Service Department, 7th
Floor Room No.703 upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 50
(Fifty Birr).
3. The
bidders should furnish as part of its bid, a bid security in of Birr
4,000.00 (Four Thousand Birr). The bid security shall be in the form
of C.P.O. or Bank guarantee or an Insurance Bond.
4. Bids
must be delivered in wax-sealed envelope to General Service
Department, Ethiopian Insurance Corporation,
Head Office Building, 7th floor,
Room No.703 before or on the closing date of the tender.
5. The
Tender will be closed on 15th June 2009 at 2:00 at 2:00
P.M. and will be opened on the same date at
3:00 P.M. in the presence of
bidders or their representatives at EIC Conference Hall.

7. The
Ethiopian Insurance Corporation reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all bids.
