1. Water
Resources Development Bureau of SNNPRG hereby invites qualified and
eligible Drilling companies for drilling and construction of 10 bore
holes in Hadiya, Wolyita, Kembata-Tembaro Zones and Yem Special
woreda as follows:
Package (I) incorporates four
borehoes drilling and construction in Duguna-Fango, Damot woide,
Boloso Sore and Damote Pulsa woredas of Wolayta zone (1 borehole is
food security program ands 3 bore holes are UNICEF program).
Package (II) incorporates five
boreholes drilling and construction (4 boreholes are UNICEF program
and 1 borehole is food security program) in Mirab Badeacho, Misrak
Badewacho, Shashogo woredas of Hadiya Zone, Durame town of Kembata
Tembaro Zone and Fofa town of Yem special woreda.
2. One
drilling company cannot bid for more than one package.
3. Bidders
should have business license valid for the current fiscal year,
registration certificate for VAT and at least 2 years of work
experience in deep borcholes drillings.
4. Bidders
shall obtain bid documents upon payment of non-refundable Birr 200
(Two Hundred Birr) form the Bureau, Room No.4.
5. Bids
should be accompanied by a bid security not less than 1% of the
total bid amount in an acceptable from of CPO or Bank Guarantee
bond.
6. Bidders
are invited to submit financial and technical proposals original and
copy separately enclosed in a wax-sealed envelope to the Bureau
within 21st calendar days at/before 2:00 P.M. of this announcement.
7. Bid
will be opened in the presence of bidders or their authorized
representatives at 2:30 P.M. in the same date at Awassa. If the 21st
day of the bid announcement lies on Ethiopian Holiday, the opening
day of the bid will be the next working day at 9:00 A.M. at the Bureau.
8. The
Bureau reserves the right to reject all or parts of the bid.
