1. The
Construction & Business Bank has funds within the Employer’s budget
to be used for the procurement of
Branch Bank Building Project at
Dessie.
2. The
Construction & Business Bank invites sealed bids from eligible
bidders of GC/BC Class 5 & Above.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures
contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal
Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Construction
Design Share Company and inspect the bidding documents at the
address given below at 7 (a) from 9:00 A.M to 16:30 P.M
5. A
complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased as of Ginbot
18,2001 by interested eligible bidders on submission of a WRITTEN
APPLICATION, MINISTRY OF WORKS AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT and VAT
REGISTRATION CERTIFICATES, TRADE LICENSE & TAX CLEARANCE LETTER at
the address below at 7(b) and up on payment non refundable fee of
Birr 1515.00 (One Thousand Five Hundred Fifteen) only.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) on or before 10:00
A.M All bids must be accompanied by a bid security Birr 80,000.00
payable on first demand. Bids will be opened in the presence of the
bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the address below at
7(d)

floor tender hall on or before 10:00 A.M Sene 18,2001.

of bid opening: Construction Design Share Company, 3rd
floor tender hall on 10;15 A.M Sene 18,2001.
e) The
bidder shall seal all the bid documents in Five inner envelopes
i.e., (Technical proposal, Financial Offer and Bid security) duly
marked as “ORGINAL” and “COPY” and to be enclosed with one outer
envelope. The Copy documents should be photocopy of the Original bid
documents.
f) The
employer has the right to reject any or all bids.
Partial rebate is not acceptable
Bidders should fill all forms on the information required for open
tender, seal and sign the bid documents.
The project completion period shall be 480 Calendar days.
Pre-bid meeting will take place on a week before the date of bid
submission at the place indicated at 7(c)
