The Arsi Forest Enterprise invites wax-sealed bids from eligible
bidders for furnishing the necessary labor, material, equipment and
service for the construction of projects indicated below:

1. Interested
and eligible bidders may obtain the bidding document upon payment of
non-refundable Birr 600.00 ETB (Sex Hundred), 300.00(Three Hundred),
200.00 (Two Hundred) Birr only for the Project stated above
respectively, from the Head office of the Enterprise located at the
town of Arsi-Negele, West Arsi Zone and from its sales office
located at Addis Ababa, Lideta Sub City, in front of Federal High
Court, some 200 meter down wards, during an office hour, staring
from June 4/2009.
2. All
bidders must provide tax clearance paper from the concerned
Authority and Trade license valid for the year 2001 E.C/2009 G.C and
also VAT Registration certificate in its original and copy.
3. Bidders
are required to submit their profile and to fill all the necessary
detailed information in the bid document.
4. The
construction work shall be completed within 365,240 & 180 calendar
days for the project No. 1,2,3 respectively.
5. All
bids must be delivered to the Head office of the Enterprise from
June 4/2009 up to July 3/2009 G.C 12:00 A.M local time, in a
wax-sealed envelope and endorsed in to the box prepared for the
purpose of this bid.
6. All
bids be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to 2% of the total
sum of bid price for each project in C.P.O.
7. All
bidders must provide original, copy, bid bond and supporting
documents in separate wax-sealed in one big envelope for each
project.
8. Bidder
may compete for all anyone of the project under this bid but should
have relevant license grade for the project is he/she is competing
for.
9. The
Bids shall be opened at the Head office of the Enterprise in the
presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at
2:00 PM local time on July 3/2009.
10. It
is impossible for any bidder to quote bid price depending on price
quoted by another bidder.
11. The
enterprise reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids
without giving any reason thereof.
