FOR THE SUPPLY DELIVERY AND
INSTALLATION
OF NETWORK EQUIPMENT

1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a credit from
the International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of
PSCAP, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit
to payments under the contract for the supply, delivery &
installation of Network Equipment IFB No. ERCA/P/G-17/09.
The credit amount is US$100 Million.
2. The
Ethiopian Revenue and Customs Authority now invites sealed bids from
eligible bidder for the supply, delivery & installation of the

3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ethiopia
Revenues and Customs Authority, procurement Team Office, contact
person Hussen Aberra, Email: hssenaberrasadic@yahoo.com and inspect
the Bidding Documents at the address below under 9:
4. The
procurement would be done following the National Competitive Bidding
(NCB) procedures.
5. Qualification
requirements include:
Bidders have option to bid for the items they can supply based on
their areas of business. The bidders’ offers below the quantities
indicated above in No. 2 will not be accepted.
6. A
complete set of Bidding Documents in ENGLISH language may be
purchased by the interested bidders on the submission of a written
application to the address below and upon payment of non-refundable
fee of Birr 30 (Thirty Birr only). The method of payment will be in
cash or equivalent.
7. Bids
must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00 A.M on
June 24,2009. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the
presence of the Bidders/bidder’s representatives who choose to
present in person at 10:30 A.M on June 24, 2009. All bids must be
accompanied by a ‘Bid Security’ of Birr 5000 (Five Thousand Birr) or
an equivalent amount in foreign currency for each lot.
8. The
Offer should be valid for 90 days from the bid submission date.
