1. Debre
Birhan Teacher’s Education & Vocational Training College now invites
sealed bids from eligible bidders for furnishing of the necessary
labor, materials & equipment for the construction of G+3 classrooms
& laboratories.
2. Interested
eligible bidders my obtain further information from and inspect the
bidding documents at Debre Birhan Teacher’s Education College.

3. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased may be purchased
by any interested eligible bidder up on the submission of written
application to the above mentioned office starting from 02/05/2009
and up on payment of non-refundable fee 300 Birr & additional sets
of document may be purchased each at the same price at the same
address.
4. All
bids must be submitted based on the free market price and current
basic materials price must be submitted attached with the bid
documents.
5. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security, in the form of Bank
Guarantee or CPO of 2% of the bid amount, and must be delivered to
Debre Birhan Teacher Education and Vocational Training College on or
before at 2:00P.M. on 21/05/2009.
6. Technical
proposals will be opened in the presence of bid
bidders/representatives who choose to attend on the same date and
place at 2:30 P.M
7. Rejection
Criteria: The Client will reject the bidder whose bid does not
fulfill the following conditions.
1. Bidders
should present currently renewed Trade License & renewed
Registration Certificate, VAT Registered Certificate and Tax payer
Registered Certificate.
2. Bidders
should complete the bid form and the appropriate price schedule.
3. The
original & copy of bid shall be signed and sealed in all pages by
the Bidder.
4. Bidders
should submit one original & one –copy envelopes of the bid
8. The
employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids
