The Ministry of Agricultural and
Rural Development –Sustainable Land Management Project Office hereby
invites eligible bidders for the supply of Differential GPS,
Handheld GPS and Other Equipments.
1. The
bid document shall be available from June 3, 2009 onwards against
payment of non-refundable fee of ETH Birr 150 (One Hundred Fifty
Birr only) per document during office hours upon presentation of
registration certificate from the Federal Ministry of Finance and
Economic Development Renewed Trade License for the current year, VAT
& Tax payer’s registration certificate.
2. All
bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, in the form of Bank
guarantee or CPO of Birr 15,000 (Fifteen Thousand Birr) or
equivalent amount in other convertible currency which is counter
guaranteed by any bank in the purchaser country. Bid Bond in any
other form shall not be acceptable.
3. Bids
must be delivered to The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural
Development Procurements, Finance and Property Administration
Directorate Office Until July 6, 2009 at or before 03:00 P.M local time.
4. All
eligibility certificates cited in item No. 2 (Registration
certificate from Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Ministry of
Trade and Industry renewed Trade/Business License for the current
year; Ministry of Revenue, Federal Inland Revenue Authority VAT &
Tax payer’s registration certificate) should be found in the
original technical envelope and are placed in the tender box on or
before the final bid submission date.
5. Bids
will be opened on July 6, 2009 at 03:30 P.M local time in the presence of the bidders or their representatives.
6. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain information from the Procurement
division through telephone numbers 251-11-550-70-00.
7. Bidders
who are not the manufacturer of the goods to be supplied must
provide manufacture’s authorization valid for the year 2008/09
8. The
Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development –Sustainable Land
Management Project Office reserve the right to reject any or all of
the bids.
