Contract identification
1. The
Oromia Education Bureau has received a budget from Oromia Regional State towards the cost
of construction of remaining works of:
a, Yabelo High School in Borana
Administrative Zone
b, Chelenko High School in East
Hararge Administrative Zone of the Oromia Region
2. The
Oromia National Regional State Education Bureau now invites all
contractors of Category GC/BC 7 and above with renewed
license valid for the year 2009 for furnishing the necessary
labor, material, equipment and service for the construction of
remaining works of the two schools.
3. Bidding
documents may be purchased at the office of Oromia National Regional
State Education Bureau, in front of Nefas Silk Shell Depot P.O. Box
8728, Tel. 251-011 440 13 80 Addis Ababa, Ethiopia up on submission
of written application and a non-refundable fee of Eth. Birr 300
(Three Hundred Birr) for each school starting from May 8, 2009 to
May 18, 2009.
4. Bidders
has to be registered to collect “VAT” and copy of VAT certificate
must be submitted attached with the application.
5. Bidders
may obtain further information, inspect and acquire the bidding
documents from the above.
6. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security (valid for 120 calendars
days) in an acceptable form (CPO or bank guarantee) of 2% of the bid
amount and must be submitted on or before the 10:00 A.M. of
May 22, 2009.
7. Bids
will be opened and read in the presence of Bidders or their
Authorized representatives on the same day of submission of the bid
at 10:30 A.M. in OEB
hall.
8. The
construction of the work shall be completed within a maximum of
60 Calendar days from the date of site handover.
9. The
Oromia Education Bureau reserve the right to reject any or all bids.
