The International Rescue Committee
(IRC) is an international non-governmental organization working in
Ethiopia for provision of multi sector refugee and rural community
assistance in Tigray, Benishangul-Gumuz, Somali, Oromia and SNNPR.
The IRC now invites sealed bids from
all eligible bidders that are qualified, technically competent and
have valid license for current Ethiopian Road, P.O. Box 107, Code 1110, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Telephone No.

The complete set of bidding documents
for the aforementioned tender can be purchased from IRC office
during working hours from Tuesday November 10th, 2009 to
Monday November 30th, 2009 at the address mentioned above
and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of ETB 50.00 (Ethiopian Birr
fifty only). The method of payment will be in cash and the
prospective bidder shall present his company’s name, copy of the
renewed license and sign to acknowledge receipt of the bid
documents.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid
bond of 1 (one)% of the bid amount in the form of an irrevocable
Bank Guarantee or CPO and shall be submitted to the International
rescue Committee, TK International Building, 6th Floor,
Bole Road, P.O. Box 107, Code 1110, Addis Ababa Ethiopia on or
before 10:00 a.m. Wednesday December 2nd, 2009. Late bids
will be rejected.
Bids will be opened in the presence
of Bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend
the same day at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday December 2nd, 2009 at the IRC Conference Room, 6th
Floor, TK International building, Bole Road, Addis Ababa Ethiopia.
