A COMPLETE CIVIL DESIGN AND
CONSTRUCTION OF A 2500 TONS PERDAY
CLINKER PRODUCTION PLANT

ETHIO CEMENT PROJECT
Ethio Cement Plc is a joint venture
company promoted by local and foreign investors. The project site is
found in the Oromia Regional State at Chancho,
Located at 40km North of Addis Ababa.
1. Ethio
Cement Plc had engaged suppliers and contractors since august 2009
for undertaking the engineering, design, construction, supply,
erection and supervision of the clinker grinding plant as its first
package of its project.
2. Ethio
Cement Plc, hereinafter named the Owner, now invites sealed bids
from bidders who fulfill the following requirements for civil
design and construction in one package for a 2500 tons/day clinker
production plant. Bidders shall have the civil design and
construction skill, the necessary finance, personnel, plant and
equipment, and technology to undertake the cement plant civil design
and construction for its second phase of its project.
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ethio Cement
Plc at the address given below from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
4. A
complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be taken by
interested eligible bidders at the address indicated below and upon
submission of a request letter with their company profile
starting from 15th of November 2009. The document
shall be collected by authorized representatives or authorized
agents of the eligible bidders.
5. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at or before 3:00 p.m. on 10th
of January 2010. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’
representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 3:00
p.m. on 10th January 2010.
