1. The
Addis Ababa University has funds within the Employer’s budget to be
used for the procurement of Contractor’s for New Dormitory Building
Projects.
2. List
of projects and other relevant information’s are stated here under.

3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures
contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal
Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Construction
Design Share Company and inspect the biding documents at the address
given below at 7(a) from 9:00 a.m. to 16:30 p.m. local time.
5. A
complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased as of Hidar
07/2002 by interested eligible bidders on submission of a WRITTEN
APPLICATION, MINISTRY OF WORKS AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT and VAT
REGISTRATION CERTIFICATES TRADE LICENSE & TAX CLEARANCE LETTER at
the address below at 7(b).
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) on or before 10:00
a.m. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security Birr 100,000.00
payable on first demand. Bids will be opened in the presence of the
bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the address below at
7(d).

or 011 442 08 00 Ext. 255)
b). Documents can be purchased at
Construction Design Share company business Unit 1 Bloc No. 5 office
No. 37.
c). Bids must be delivered to; Addis
Ababa University Main campus Procurement Division Room No. 200 on or
before 10:00 a.m. Tahisas 07/2002.
d). Address of Bid Opening: Addis Ababa
University Main Campus procurement Division Room No. 200 at on 10:15
a.m. Tahisas 07/2002.
e). The bidder shall seal all the bid
documents in five inner envelopes i.e. (Technical proposal,
Financial Offer and Bid Security) duly marking the inner envelopes
as “ORIGINAL” and “COPY” and to be enclosed with one outer envelope.
d). The employer has the right to
reject any or all bids.
Participation in both bids is
possible if the firm’s capacity fulfils the criteria’s set for each
bid.
Partial rebate, like fixed sum and
rebate on some items is not acceptable.
Bidders should return the instruction
to bidder’s document upon fill, sign and seal of the document
