work company’s with valid license for the year 2002 E.C.
1. The
Government of FDRE has obtained a grant from the German financial
corporation (KFW) for financing the urban development fund (UDF).
Portion of this fund has been allocated for Kombolcha city
administration by the national Steering Committee, towards the cost
of Garbage containers.
2. The
Kombolcha city administration invites sealed bids from
eligible bidders for supplying Garbage containers.
3. The
work on offer mainly consist of the following components
a. Producing
and supplying the garbage containers according to the specification
in the bidding document.
b. Transporting
the garbage containers to Kombolcha city administration.
4. Bidders
must have valid registration certificate from Ministry Works and
Urban Development (MOUD) and must be registered for VAT.
5. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Kombolcha
office of city service and inspect the bidding documents at the
address given below from
9:00-12:00 and 14:00-17:00

6. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased against payment
of Birr 100.
7. The
tender must be accompanied by a tender security in an amount of not
less than two percent (2%) of the tender price in the form of
certified cheque.
8. Tenders
must be delivered to the address given below on or before 14:00 on
Monday Dec. 14, 2009.
9. Tenders
will be opened in the presence of bidders or their legal
representatives at Kombolcha office of city service, Kombolcha, at
14:30 Monday Dec. 14, 2009
10. The
authority has the right to reject any or all bids.
