1. GOAL
Ethiopia, an International Humanitarian Organization, invites sealed
bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of 2nd
Phase Expansion Works for the Fulassa-Ballela Water Supply Project
in the SNNPRS, Sidama Zone. Boricha Woreda.
2. All
contractors of category G.C./W.W.C, G6 and above who have
valid licenses for the current year can obtain a complete set of
bidding document from GOAL ETHIOPIA HEAD OFFICE (ADDIS ABABA) AND
GOAL ETHIOPIA SIDAMA PROGRAMME OFFICE, AWASSA (IN FROM OF PHARMID
AWASSA BRANCH) starting from the first day this notice appeared
in The Ethiopian Herald upon submission of a written application and
payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 50.00 (Fifty only) during
office hours. Further information can also be obtained at the
address Tel. 0462-20-39-32 or 20-70-50 (Awassa) or 0116-478116/17
(Addis Ababa) or by visiting the office during office hours.
3. All
tenders must be submitted to GOAL ETHIOPIA HEAD OFFICE along with
a BID SECURITY (BID BOND) in any acceptable forms
specified in the Tendering Data amounting to 1% OF THE BID OFFER.
4. Duplicate
copies of BID OFFER shall be produced in separate wax sealed
envelopes labeled as ORIGINAL and COPY. The original
bid document should also contain copies of company renewed license,
VAT registration certificate and tax payer’s identification
certificate. TECHNICAL OFFER shall be made in a third
wax-sealed envelope clearly labeled as TECHNICAL OFFER. The three
envelopes shall then be sealed in a signed, sealed and waxed outer
envelope, addressed TO GOAL ETHIOPIA HEAD OFFICE whose
address is mentioned below.
5. Bidders
should submit their offers accompanied by copies of all appropriate
documents/ licenses in a wax-sealed and stamped envelope into the
box prepared for bid document collection before
30th November 2009, 4:00
p.m. to the address
specified below.
6. The
bid will be opened at the GOAL
ETHIOPIA HEAD OFFICE, ADDIS ABABA
in the [presence of
bidders and/or their legal representatives who choose to attend on
1st December,
2009, 10:00 a.m.
7. GOAL
Ethiopia reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
