Civil Works Supply & Installation of
Pipes & Fittings for
Halaba Kulito Town Water Supply ISI Component
(Grant No. H085-ET)
1. The
SNNP Regional State Halaba Kulito Town Water Board (HKTWB) through
the Government of Ethiopia has received Grant from the International
Development of Town Water Supply & Sanitation Improvement Programme
& & it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Grant to
payments under the Contract for Civil Works, Supply & Installation
of Pipes & Fittings for Halaba Kulito Town Water Supply ISI
Component.
2. The
HKTWB now invites sealed bids from eligible & qualified bidders for
the construction of Civil Works , Supply & Installation of Pipes &
Fittings for Halaba Kulito Town Water Supply ISI Component at Halaba
Kulito Town. The construction period is 120 calendar days.
3. Bidding
will be conducted through the National Competitive (NCB) procedures
specified in the World Bank’s guidelines: Procurement under IDA
Credits & is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as
defined in the guideline.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from HKTWB & inspect
the Bidding Documents at the address given below at Room No 4 from
09:00 A.M. to 12:00 A.M. & 12:30 P.M. to
5:00P.M. from Monday to Friday.
5. A
complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested
bidders on the submission of a written application & copies of
necessary renewed licenses to the address below & upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Birr 200.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at or before 2:00 P.M. on
30th day of floating of this invitation for bids notice on The
Ethiopian Herald News Paper. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will
be opened physically in the presence of the bidders/representatives
who choose to attend in person at the address below at 2:30 P.M. on
30th day of announcement of this invitation for bids notice on The
Ethiopian Herald News Paper at HKTWB, Halaba Kulito Town. If the 30th day is
a holiday, the closing & opening of the bid will take place on the
next working day at the same time & the same venue.
7. All
bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security of 45,000 in the form of
CPO or Bank Guarantee & shall remain valid for 120 days. Insurance
bond is not acceptable.
8. Bidders
must obtain registration for category WC7 or GC7 & above with valid
license for the current year.
9. Qualification
requirement include: (1) Ownership & /or existing lease of relevant
equipment & machinery, (2) Experience in Water Works Construction,
(3) Availability of relevant experienced personnel as provided in
the bidding document with others additional details.
10. The
Halaba Kulito Town Water Board reserves the right to reject all or
part of the bid.
