expansion work of Haramaya University Main Campus (G)

2. Bidders
are required to submit valid registration from the Ministry of
Infrastructure & the concerned Trade bureau for the year in which
the bid is issued. The category of registration is BC/GC 3 and
above.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering
procedure contained in the public procurement Proclamation of the
Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders
4. Bidding
documents (and additional copies) may be purchased at the Haramaya
University Liaison Office in Addis Ababam General Education
Curriculum Frame Work Development Department Building, Office No.
355, In front of American Embassy. Tel. 011-123 68 12 or 0911 20 89
04 for a non-refundable fee of Ethiopia Birr 900.00 for each set.
Bidding document may also be purchased from the purchasing and Sales
Department Office at Haramaya University Main campus.
5. Bids
shall be valid for a period of 90 days after Bid opening and must be
accompanied by a bid security of Br. 250,000.00 (Ethiopian Birr Two
Hundred Fifty Thousand) and shall be delivered to Haramaya
University Addis Ababa Liaison office, General Education Curriculum
Frame Work Development Department Building, Office No. 355, in front
of American Embassy, Addis Ababa Ethiopia or at Haramaya University
Purchasing Office on or before 11:00 a.m. Dec. 8, 2009, at which
time they will be opened in the presence of bidders or
bidders/representatives who wish to attend.
6. Bidders
are instructed to submit one original and one photocopy of the
qualification information documents and one original and one
photocopy of the financial bid in a separate envelope.
7.
The employer reserves the right to reject any all bids.
Bidders are instructed to fill, sign
and seal all the forms of the bid documents. Failure of this
instruction may lead to bid rejection.
All bids must include value added Tax
(VAT) on the summary of the price.
Partial rebate, like fixed sum and
rebate on some items is not acceptable.
