Construction of Meki
Town Water Supply Immediate
Service Improvement (ISI)
Project
Credit No. 3901 ET, grant No. H850ET
1. Meki
Town Water Board in Oromia National Regional State through the
Government of Ethiopia has received a Credit/Loan from the World
Bank towards the cost of Water supply and Sanitation Project and
intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Credit /Loan to
payments under th Contract for Construction of Immediate Service
Improvement (ISI) for Meki Town Water Supply and sanitation Project.
2. The
Town Water Board now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders fort
he Construction of Meki Town Water Supply Immediate Service
Improvement project for:
Supply and Installation of
submersible pump equipment at Oda Bokota Well (BH No. 4)
Supply and laying of 3.55 km DN 100
PN 15 uPVC pipes, fittings and replacement of 390 meter 3” GS
leaking pipes and fittings.
Construction of pump control room/
Operation Room
3. Bidding
will be conducted through the National competitive bidding
procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement
under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and are open to all bidders from
eligible source countries as defined in the guidelines.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Meki Town Water
Supply and Sewerage Enterprise and inspect the bidding documents at
the address given below.
5. A
complete set of bidding documents in English Language may be
purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written
application to the address below and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Birr 300.00
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at or before 2:00 p.m.
15/12/2009 and all bids must be accompanied by a bid security of not
less than 1% of the bid price. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will
be opened in the presence of the bidders/ representatives who choose
to attend at the address below at 2:00 p.m. 15/12/2009.
