Civil Works, Supply & Installation of
Pipes & Fittings for
Arba Minch Town Water Supply ISI component,
(Credit No. 3901-ET and Grant No. H85 ET
1. The
Government of Ethiopia has received a Credit & Grant (Credit No.
3901-ET and Grant No. H85 ET) from the International Development
Association (IDA) toward the cost of Planning & Implementation of
Town Water Supply & Sanitation Improvement Programme, & it intends
to apply part of the proceeds of this Credit & Grant to payments
under the Contract for Civil Works, Supply ISI Component.
2. The
Arba Minch Town Water Board (TWB) now invites sealed bids from
eligible and qualified bidders for the construction of Civil Works,
Supply & Installation of Pipes & Fittings for Arba Minch Town Water
Supply ISI Component at Arba Minich Town. The construction
period is 120 calendar days.
3. Bidding
will be conducted thorough the National Competitive Bidding (NCB)
procedures specified in the procurement guidelines set out by the
Ministry of Finance & Economic Development (MOFED) and are open to
all bidders Category GC 6 and above.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Arba Minch Town
Water Board or Arbamich Water Supply & Sewerage Enterprise and
inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at Room
No.10 from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 A.M. and 1:30 P.M. to
5:00 P.M. From Monday to Friday.
5. A
complete set of bidding documents in the English Language may be
purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written
application and copies of necessary renewed licenses to the address
below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100.
6. Bids
must be delivered to address below at or before 2:00 P.M. on 30th
day of announcement of this invitation for bids notice on The
Ethiopian Herald News Paper. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will
be opened physically in the presence of the bidders/representatives
who choose to attend in person at the address below at 2:30 P.M. on
30th day is a holiday, the closing & opening of the bid will take
place on the next working day of the same time and the same venue.
7. All
bids shall be accompanied by a bid security of not less than 2% of
the bid price in the form of CPO or Bank Guarantee.
8. The
Arba Minch Town Water Board has the right to reject all or part of
the bid.
