Procurement of computers and office Equipments
1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a credit from
the International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of
Information and Communication Technology Assisted Development (ICTAD)
Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of the loan to
payments under the contract for the Procurement of computers and
office Equipments.
2. The
ICTAD Project now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the
procurement of computers and office Equipments.
3. Bidding
will be conducted under the National Competitive bidding
procedures in accordance with the World Bank Guidelines:
Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits date may 2004. in
accordance with the World Bank Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD
Loans and IDA Credits dated May 2004, and is open to all bidders
from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ethiopian ICT
Development Agency, ICT Assisted Development Project, Tel.

info@ictadethiopia.org. Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and inspect the
address given below during Office hours.
5. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
eligible bidders on the submission of a written application to
Ethiopian ICT Development Agency, ICT Assisted Development Project,
Dembel City Center, 11th
floor using lift No. 2 or 3, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of
Birr 100 or the equivalent amount inj a freely convertible currency.
6. Bids
must be submitted to Ethiopian ICT Development Agency, ICT Assisted
Development Project, at or before 2:00 p.m. on December 16, 2009.
Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be
rejected.
7. All
bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Birr 15,000 or the
equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
8. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives
who choose to attend at Ethiopian ICT Development Agency, ICT
Assisted Development Project at
3:00 p.m. on December 16, 2009.
