1. The
Ministry of Health of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia
and the HIV AIDS Prevention and Control Office have been receiving
grants from various development partners to augment public health
services in the country. Prants have been transferred to Regional
Health Bureaus, Regional HAPCOs and other institutions to be used
within the context of the objectives of the grants.
2. Now,
the Ministry of Health would like to invite all interested and
eligible Accountancy Firms, and hire the responsive four of them,
for the provision of accountancy services to Regional, Zonal and
Woreda health bureaus and Regional HAPCOs.
3. All
bidders should submit their offer with VAT Registration
Certification, renewed license & registration certificate form MoFED
for which they are registered as an accountancy service.
4. Bid
documents can be obtained from Finance and Procurement Directorate
of the Ministry against a non-refundable payment of Birr 100.00 (One
Hundred only) during working hours.
5. A
wax-sealed bid, that shall be marked ‘Officer for the Accountancy
Service for the Global Fund, and other Aid Program’s and contains
two separate Envelopes marked ‘Technical Offer’ and ‘Financial
Offer’. Shall be submitted in person or at the following address on
or before December 16, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. local time.

6. The
bid will be opened in the presence of bidders and/or their
representatives at the Ministry of Health conference Hall on
December 16, 2009 at 2:30 P.M. local time.
7. The
Ministry reserves the rights to accept or reject all or part of the
bids.
