INVITATION FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF
OFFICE FURNITURE TENDER No. TL/SER/02/2009
AND
OFFICE EQUIPMENT TENDER No. TL/SER/03/2009
Ethiopian Telecommunications
Corporation (South Eastern Region) invites sealed bid from eligible
bidders for the Procurement of Office Equipment & Furniture.
1. The
Tender remains floating from November 4, 2009 until November 24,
2009. Bid Documents can be obtained from ETC’s Legehar Building 3rd
floor Office Room No. 332 (Addis Ababa) during office hours upon
payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 30.00 (Thirty Birr). Bidders
should submit all their renewed original license & VAT certificate
with copies (if they are registered) when they come to obtain the
bid documents.
Bidders shall furnish as part of
their bid, security of Birr 4,000.00 (Birr Four Thousand) for office
furniture (TENDER No. TL/SER/2/2009) and Birr 5,000.00 (Birr Five
Thousand) for office equipment (TENDER No. TL/SER/03/2009).
2. The
Bid bond must be in either of the following form:
a) Cash
b) Certified
cheque (CPO) issued by a recognized Bank or
c) Bank
guarantee from recognized bank.
3. Bidders
who wish to submit Bid security in the form of cash are required to
deposit to ETC fixed line (Legehar Building) cashier, second floor
Room No.21, on or before November 24, 2009 at 5:00 P.M. and produce
the receipt during the bid opening.
4. Bidders
should prepare their offer in a wax-sealed envelope and deposit in
the box situated at 3rd floor Room No.320 on or before
November 24, 2009 at 5:00 P.M.
Bids will be opened in the presence
of interested bidders or their representatives at ETC (Fixed line)
Legehar Building 4th floor Room No.420 on November 25, 2009 at 2:00
P.M. for office furniture (TENDER No. TL/SER/02/2009) and at
10:00 A.M. for office equipment
(TENDER No. TL/SER/03/2009).
5. Partial
Bidding is allowed.
6. The
Corporation reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
