1. The
Oromia Roads Authority (ORA) now invites all eligible local Road
Consultants with pertinent registration and license from
Construction Works Sector of the Ministry of infrastructure valid
for 2002/2001 fiscal year, registered for VAT, have recent Tax
Clearance from respective Inland Revenue Authority and registration
certificate from Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, for
which they are registered on suppliers list to submit the
qualification information and bid offer to provide consulting
services for Feasibility Study, Detailed Engineering Design and
Tender Document preparation of the following sixteen rural road
projects.

2. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from ORA Head Office
addressed below.
3. A
complete set of bidding document/request for Proposal (RFP) may be
purchased by any interested eligible bidder on the submission of a
written application, from ORA Head Office addressed bellows upon
payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 200.00 only, for each project.
4. One
original and two photocopies of Technical Proposal and Financial
Proposal shall be produced in different wax sealed envelopes, and
each proposal will be sealed in such a way that one original and one
photocopy to be sealed in one envelope while the second copy will be
sealed in another envelopes separately and labeled as “ORIGINAL and
“ONE PHOTOCOPY” as appropriate and must be placed the bid box along
with a bid security in an acceptable form from Bank amounting, as
indicated in the above table on or before December 02, 2009, 3:00
P.M. at the same address shown below.
5. Bidders
must meet the minimum qualification criteria for their Financial
Proposal to be opened. Unqualified Bidder’s Financial Proposal will
be returned unopened to the Bidders.
6. Technical
Proposals will be opened in the presence of the Bidders or their
authorized representatives who chose to attend. On December 02,
2009, 2:30 P.M. at the same address.
7. Financial
proposal of qualified bidders will be opened in the opening date of
Technical Proposals, i.e. December 31, 2009 at 3:30 P.M.
8. The
Employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
