The Gullele Botanic Garden (GBG)
Development Project, an initiative of the
Addis Ababa University is
undertaking several activities towards realizing its goals of
establishment and functioning of a modern botanic garden, the first
of its kind in our country. Recently the Addis Ababa City Council
has approved the proclamation for the establishment of the Garden as
an independent public institution.
The GBG development project office as
part of the realization of the proclamation now would like to
develop:
Lot 1.
A strategic plan of the GBG that
help realize the objectives, duties and functions of the Garden as
per provisions of the proclamation and experiences of botanic
gardens else where.
Lot 2.
Organizational structure, human resource requirement and associated
guidelines based on the provisions of the proclamation.
Interested consulting firms
individuals with valid license and have the skills to carry out the
job are invited to participate in the consultancy services and can
collect the TOR from the GBG Project submit their technical and
financial proposals separately in a wax-sealed envelope on or before
4:00 P.M. of 10th of December to the project office. The bid
will be opened on this same date December 10th at
4:30 P.M.
