Tender for the Purchase of Concrete Mixers and Vibrators
Contract MV-1/2002
1. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation, (EEPCo.) Transmission
Construction PI Office has allocated budget from its own source and
would like to purchase Concrete Mixers and Vibrators from a
qualified and reputable company.
2. The
Office now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the purpose
as indicated above.
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Transmission
Construction PI Office, Tel. 011 647 65 87 and collect the bidding
document from the following address starting from November 23, 2009

4. Interested
Bidders have to present currently renewed Business license, Tax
payer registration certificate, VAT registration certificate, VAT
registration certificate main registration certificate, a letter
from Inland Revenue and Customs Authority stating a valid day to
participate in bids (the certificates shall be valid for at least
the year 2001 E.C.)
5. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested
bidder up on payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100.00.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the above office before December 07, 2009, 6:00
o’clock local time and the following amounts of Bid Security must be
accompanied, Birr 20,000 (Twenty Thousand Birr) in a bank guaranteed
CPO or in cash.
7. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders/ representatives who
choose to attend on December 07, 2009, 8:00 o’clock local time at Transmission Submission Construction conference room,
Cottebe.
8. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation reserves the right to reject
any or all bids without assigning any reasons thereof.
