1. The
Oromia Education Bureau has received a budget from Oromia Regional
State to wards the cost of construction of Masonary Retaining wall
for Ebantu H.S.S around newly built blocks in East Wellega
Administrative zone, Hinde Town.
2. The
Oromia National Regional State Education Bureau now invites all
contractors of category GC/BC 7 and above with renewed license valid
for the year 2009 for furnishing the necessary labor, material,
equipment and service for the execution of the works.
Bidding documents may be purchased at
the office of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Oromia
National Regional State Education Bureau, near “Sarbet” area P.O.
Box 8728 Tel. (251) 01 40 13 80 Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, up on
submission of written application and a non-refundable fee of Birr
150 (One Hundred Fifty) starting from December 1, 2009 up to
December 14, 2009.
3. Copy
of VAT certificate, trade license and registration certificate from
Ministry of Urban Development must be submitted attached with the
application.
4. Bidders
may obtain further information, inspect and acquire the bidding
documents, from the above-mentioned office.
5. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security, valid for 60 days after
the date of opening, in an acceptable form CPO or Bank guarantee (in
only the form attached with the bid document) 1% of the bid amount
and must be submitted on or before the 10:00 a.m. of December 18,
2009.
6. The
validity of the bid shall be 90 days from the date of bid opening.
7. Bid
will be opened and read in the presence of bidders or their
authorized representatives on the same bid submission date at 10:30
a.m. in OEB hall.
8. The
work shall be completed within a maximum of 60 calendar days from
the commencement date of the work.
9. The
Oromia Education Bureau reserves the right to reject any or all
bids.
