The Jimma University invites sealed
bids from eligible suppliers for the supply of COMPUTERS and LCD
PROJECTOR for JIMMA UNIVERSITY
1. Eligible
bidders should have business license valid for the current year and
copy of Registration certificate from the Ministry of Finance and
Economic Development and Supporting letter from inland revenue
Authority, and VAT registration (for local bidders).
2. Bid
documents and detail information can be obtained from Jimma
University, main Campus procurement and property supplies team
leader office or from Ministry of Education,” Jimma University
liaison office in Addis Ababa during office hours up on payment of a
non-refundable fee of Birr 100 (One Hundred) Birr.
3. All
bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond amount of Birr 30,000 (Thirty
Thousand Birr) furnished by certified cheque (CPO) issued by a
domestic Bank in the name of the Jimma University.
4. The
delivery place is at Jimma University main campus store and
price should be quoted accordingly.
5. Bids
shall be submitted in two separate envelopes. 1). Technical Proposal
envelope. 2) Financial proposal envelop each having one “Original”
and one “Copy”.
6. Bid
bond and all eligibility /registration/ certificates should be found
in the original technical envelope.
7. Bid
reply shall be put into the tender box prepared for this purpose at
the Jimma University main campus,
procurement and property supplies team leader office at Jimma town
on or before December 16, 2009 G.C at 10:00 a.m. local time. Bids received after the closing time will be automatically
rejected.
8. Bids
will be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their
representatives on the same date December 16, 2009 G.C at 10:00 a.m. local time in the Jimma University senate Hall.
9. Jimma University reserves the right to
reject all or parts of this bid
