1. The
Arbaminch University has funds the Employers bugget to be used for
the procurement of contractors for Management office, Staff
Resource Centre, Student Resource Centre, Post graduate class room,
Registrar office, Electric workshop Buildings, Asphalt & Site work
construction at Arbaminch.
2. The
Arbaminch University
invites sealed bids from eligible
bidders of GC/BC Class 1 contractors.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open National tendering
procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the
Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible
bidders.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Construction
Design Share Company and inspect the bidding documents at the
address given below at 7(a) from
8:30
hrs to
16:30 hrs
local time.
5. A
complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased as of Hidar
22, 2002 by interested eligible bidders on submission of
Written Application, VAT, Ministry of Works & Urban Development
Registration Certificate, Trade License & Bid participation
supporting letter at the address below at 7b & upon payment of a
non-refundable fee Eth. Birr 4,743 (Four Thousand Seven Hundred
Fourty Three).
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) at or before 10:00
A.M. Tahisas 08, 2002. All bids must be accompanied by a bid
security of Ethiopian Birr 100,000.00 payable on first demand.
Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders representatives
who choose to attend at the address below at 7(d) at 10:00 A.M.
Tahisas 08, 2002.
7. a)

e) The Bidders are instructed to
submit all Bid documents in five inner Envelopes i.e., the
(Technical Proposal, Financial Offer, and Bid Security) and one
outer envelope, duly marking the inner envelopes i.e., the
(Technical Proposal, Financial Offer, and Bid Security) on one outer
envelope, duly marking the inner envelopes as ORIGINAL and COPIES
both for the Technical Proposal and Financial Offer.
8. The
Arbaminch University has the right to reject any or all bids.
Bidders are instructed to Fill, sign
& seal all forms of ITB and return with the bid document. Failure To
do so results as non-responsive.
Partial rebate, like fixed sum and rebate on some items is not
acceptable
Bidders should sign and seal the bid document.
